Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy
Rhian Kivits, Rhian Kivits Relationships & The Betrayal Prescription

By accessing this website, purchasing a product, booking a service or entering into a working agreement with Rhian Kivits, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
1. Services Offered
Rhian Kivits provides:
1:1 online therapy.
Psycho-educational programmes.
Digital products and downloadable resources.
Online training and educational materials.
1:1 therapy and digital products are separate services and carry different terms.
2. 1:1 Therapy Services
Delivery
Sessions are delivered online via Zoom unless otherwise agreed.
Sessions last between 50 and 60 minutes.
You are responsible for ensuring a private space and reliable internet connection.
Payment
All sessions and packages must be paid in advance.
Payment is accepted via Bank Transfer or Stripe.
Credit card payments via Stripe may incur a 5% administration fee.
Additional administration or extended email support outside the agreed package is charged at £60 per hour.
Cancellations and Changes
More than 48 hours’ notice: session may be rescheduled.
Less than 48 hours’ notice: session is forfeited and charged at full cost.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session will be cancelled and charged at full cost.
If I need to cancel due to illness or emergency, we will reschedule at no cost.
Breaks In Therapy
Please provide two weeks’ notice of planned holidays.
Longer pauses in therapy are subject to availability when resuming.
Ending Therapy
If you choose to end therapy, two weeks’ notice is requested so we can complete a final session and close the work responsibly. All packages puchased must be completed or sessions forfeited.
Refunds – 1:1 Packages and Programmes
All therapy packages and educational programmes requiring advance payment are non-refundable.
3. Digital Products and Downloadable Resources
This section applies to all digital products including toolkits, guides, courses and downloadable materials purchased via Rhian Kivits, Rhian Kivits Relationships or The Betrayal Prescription.
Nature of Digital Products
Digital products are:
Delivered electronically.
Accessible immediately upon purchase.
Considered consumed once accessed or downloaded.
No Refund Policy.
Due to the immediate access and downloadable nature of digital products:
All digital product sales are final.
No refunds, exchanges or cancellations are available once purchase is completed.
By purchasing, you agree to waive your 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Please ensure you review product descriptions carefully before purchasing.
Intellectual Property
All digital products and materials are:
The intellectual property of Rhian Kivits, Rhian Kivits Relationships or The Betrayal Prescription.
For personal use only.
Not to be shared, reproduced, distributed, resold or copied in any format.
Unauthorised distribution constitutes a breach of copyright law.
4. Confidentiality (1:1 Clients Only)
All information shared during therapy is confidential except where disclosure is required by law, including:
Risk of serious harm to yourself or others.
Safeguarding concerns involving a child or vulnerable adult.
Legal obligations under UK law.
I do not:
Record sessions.
Permit clients to record sessions.
Provide reports for court, legal proceedings or benefit claims.
Offer letters detailing therapeutic content.
Basic records kept include:
Name.
Date of birth.
Contact details.
Session attendance.
Records are stored electronically and securely.
5. Data Protection & GDPR
I comply with UK GDPR and relevant data protection legislation.
When you:
Download a free resource.
Join the mailing list.
Purchase a product.
Enquire about services.
Your data is used solely to:
Deliver your purchase.
Provide requested information.
Send relevant marketing (if opted in).

I do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

Rhian Kivits shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of services or digital products.
Liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific product or service.
9. Professional Standards
Rhian Kivits is a Senior Member of ACCPH and undertakes regular clinical supervision. Case discussions in supervision are anonymised.
